Find your pictures at the zoo. 2.

Find the animals what you like and try to say its name. Teaching Goals: 1.知识目标：

(1) 学生能听懂认读下列词汇：zoo, panda, monkey，elephant, bear, wolf, snake, big, small, long, short, fat, thin (2) 能根据特征说出动物的英语名字。

2.认读特征词big, small, long, short, fat, thin 三、教学难点：能进行简单的英语阅读，能说出所学动物的间单特征。

（一）Class Opening and Review:

（二）、New Concepts: Step1. zoo,

panda, monkey, elephant，bear，wolf，snake (1) You did a good job! Just now, we saw many animals, do you know where they live?

Today, we’ll learn more animals, they are at the zoo. 四线格里板书并带领读。

出示石家庄动物园的图片。

(2) panda bear

出示黑白两个色块，

让学生去联想。

引出单词panda

老师边拼读音节边板书，然后让学生试着流水拼读。

e.g. p-a-n /d-a——panda

T：（show the picture of the bear）

预设意图：学生比较熊猫和熊的区别，形体相似，颜色不同。以此来加深动物的认知。

(3) Riddle 1: It’s brown. What is it? 只提供一个信息，让生发散思维去猜。

板书并教授monkey .

T: so what do you see? Ss: I see a monkey. T: What color is it? Ss: It’s brown.

Riddle 2 It looks like a dog. It is not on the farm.

fat, thin，big, small, long, short 阅读导入：

The farm is big. The bird is small. The pig is fat. The cat is thin. The rabbit has long ears. It has a short tail. 全班学生集体讨论，中英文不限。

预设意图：学生在英语阅读中通过自己的生活经验和知识积累形成自己的阅读思维——不断地猜测、验证来提升自己的学习思维和习惯。毕竟自己的学习过程更主要。

Step5: 坚定信心，喜欢动物

通过欣赏动物在大自然中快乐生活的图片，告诉同学们动物园并不是他们的家，我们更要爱护、保护动物。
