教材分析：

《新标准英语》（三年级起始）第三册Module 3 Unit 1 What are they doing？.本单元的课文情景是Amy和Daming坐公共汽车，路上Amy看到很多不明白的场景，她一路询问，Daming逐一说明。本单元介绍的是现在进行时的另一种非常重要的用法：不再是谈论看不见的事情，而是谈论看得见却看不懂的事情。太极拳、龙舟、豆浆都是具有中国特色的事情，Amy这个英国孩子不了解这些，于是才询问Daming。

学情分析：

小学四年级的学生活泼好动，竞争意识强，喜欢表现自己。经过了一个学年的英语学习，能用英语进行一些简单的问候和交流，对英语学习保持浓厚的兴趣，能够明白教师简单的英语课堂用语，熟悉和喜欢英语课堂上的游戏、活动、竞赛，喜欢chant。根据学生以上的特点，课堂上我利用多媒体课件创设语言情景，通过设计多种多样的教学活动，让学生积极参与,在快乐中学习和运用英语，让学生感受到学英语的乐趣。

学习目标：

知识目标：掌握单词：boat chess row soya milk drink hungry

能口头运用“What are they doing?”这类语句询问他人正在做什么，能用现在进行时进行的句子回答。

能力目标：

能口头运用“What are they doing?”这类语句询问他人正在干什么，能用they are +动词ing+其他的句子进行回答。

情感目标：

通过学习培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生喜欢用英语交流，敢于开口。
