一．

教学内容分析

本节课授课内容是人教版必修2 Unit2 Reading “ In search of the Amber Room”,教学内容是文化遗产，与学生们的日常生活没有多少联系。课文中出现许多历史人物，时间，地点，而且他们的关系是比较复杂的，对学生来说理清历史事件，人物关系，尤其是与琥珀馆的关系是比较难的。

学情分析

学生是刚从初中升上高中的，他们学习过程处于兴奋，好奇，热情后期的稳定状态，他们在初中已积累了一定的词汇量，并有一些历史，地理初级知识，对城市生活的孩子来说，他们已经接触和理解一些文化遗产方面的知识，他们正在探索新的学习策略和技巧，具有初步的听说读写能力。相信他们对历史文化遗产有好奇心，因而会产生一定的兴趣。所以，教师需要在学习过程中，指导并传授阅读技巧，鼓励学生多阅读，勤思考，总结方法和技巧去解决问题，启发他们多了解文化遗产及尽可能保护文化遗产。

教学目标

1.

引导学生学习掌握以下新的生词和词组：

Amaze, amazing, select, honey, design, style, decorate,jewel,artist,belong,troop,reception,remove,wooden,doubt,former,worth, in search of, belong to, in return, at war, less than 2.让学生了解琥珀屋的历史。

3.激发学生对文化遗产的了解和兴趣及保护文化遗产的意识。

四．教学过程

Step1.

Warming up (Pre-reading) 1.

Get the students to know what the ambers are asking the following questions. a.

Have you ever seen a piece of amber? b.

What do you know about it? c.

Can you imagine a house made of amber? Display the pictures of amber and the amber room.(pictures) 设计意图：通过先展示琥珀图片，让学生对琥珀有所了解，既能活跃课堂气氛，又能使学生对本课产生好奇和兴趣，顺利进入新课学习。

Step2. While-Reading a.

Fast-reading Get the students to listen to the passage and try to get a better understanding .

设计意图：通过听，读把学生带入一个琥珀屋的历史过程，直观形象地展现课文内容。

Show the students the following tips to do fast-reading and then give them some questions to answer.

Skipping and scanning (找重点词、关键词、理解文章的主要内容) c.
