Step I. Warming up

Play the sing Delicious food.

Step II Review and lead in

1. Review numbers 1—10. ( use number cars )

2. Review I like

…,I don’t like…( use objects of fruit, apple, pear, orange ,watermelon) let’s find out.

Step III New concepts (presentation)

1. Teaching new words (use fruit cards and ask )

Show picture of an apple and ask:

What’s this? Do you know?

What color is it?

Is it sweet?

Is it red or green?

Is it big or small?

Show picture of two apples and ask:

What are these?

I like apples.

Do you like apples? Write apple and apples on the blackboard.

Have students read apple and apples after me.

2. Teach words pear, orange, watermelon in this way.

Have students read new words after the teacher.

3. Practice

(Use pictures of t apple) Have students count apple, from one apple to ten apples, then add one apple, and ask:

How many apples are there? (Encourage students to answer)

Yes, eleven apples. Then write eleven on the blackboard. Add one again, ask: How many apples are there?

(Change pictures of oranges, pears, bananas, watermelons )

Teach eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen in this way.

Write eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen on the blackboard.

Have students read them after to the teacher. Under line teen and read [ti:n] .

Read part 3 “How many” with students together.

Step VI Play a game.

Have students say numbers one by one from 1 to 15. If someone can’t say, act out conversation in this class.

Step VII Let’s sing

1. Play the tape, have students only listen.

2. Play again and have students answer,

3. Have students read song words after the teacher.

4. Play again and have students sing after the tape.

5. Students sing this song.

Step VIII Production 拓展

Have students free talk about like or dislike.
