本课是冀教版三年级下册Unit 2 Lesson 8 Tigers and Bears .主要内容为新词汇：tiger, wolf, bear, snake，long, short .句子为 It’s long. It’s short. 本课以前面的知识为基础，让学生学会新的词汇，提高听说技能，学生学会谈论动物。

二、学情分析

三年级学生天真可爱，活泼好动。他们在一个学期的英语学习中积累了部分句子和单词，并对英语学习产生了浓厚的兴趣。在本节课内容之前，学生已经学过一些表示动物名称和描述动物外貌特征的词汇，他们还接触过What’s this? Is it a ___? It’s _____.句型。这些知识都可以充实本节课的教学内容。

三、教学目标

1.知识与技能

学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：tiger, bear, long. Short，学生能认读、理解并使用下列句式：It’s long. It’s short. 2.过程与方法

在课堂学习中集中注意力，注意倾听，积极思考，通过小组合作，积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务。

3.情感态度与价值观

通过唱歌、小组合作等多种形式激发学生学习兴趣，采用教师评价，小组评价等多种评价方式增强学生的合作意识。

1、教学重点：tiger, wolf, bear, snake, long, short单词的认读及掌握

2、教学难点：Its __ is ____.句中its 的发音，学习运用表示身体部位的单词的单复数。

六、教学过程

Step 1 ：Greeting 1.教师问候学生

2.歌曲热身，引出新知。教师播放本课歌曲Big and Small 引出本课要学的新授单词。

T: Do you like animals? Today we will go to the zoo. First, let’s listen to a song. (通过歌曲调动学生学习兴趣，使其尽快进入英语学习的氛围中。) Step 2: Learning 1.Introduction 教师用歌曲中的动物导入新课,教学单词,出示PPT. T:What’s this? It’s a tiger.教师教授单词，指导发音。

呈现wolf教学单词。

T：Is this a tiger? Is it big? Is it fat? 单词bear和snake教学步骤同上，教师要运用所学过的句子What’s this? Is this a ___? Is it fat/thin/big/small? What color is

it?引导学生对知识的迁移。

2. Long or short ? PPT呈现动物图片。

教师带领学生学习如何描述蛇和大象的特征。

教授句子It’s long. It’s short. Its nose is long. Its tail is short. T: Look. It’s an elephant. 指鼻子，It’s long. Its nose is long. T: This is a tail. Its tail is short. 鼓励学生用It’s ___.描述大象特征。如，It’s big. It’s fat. T: Can you say something about the elephant? 同样借助PPT，鼓励学生描述熊、兔子等的外行特征。教师可适时提示。

T: What color is the rabbit? S: It’s white. T: Is it big? S:No, it’s small. Step 3： Practice 1.同桌两人分角色练习对话，并展示练习效果。教师先和学生示范。
