Step 2. New Concepts 1. Seasons T: In April, the grass grows, trees have new leaves, the flowers bloom.

(Demonstrate summer, autumn, winter in the same way.) (讨论有关四季的话题，师生通过问答进行口语交际) 2. What’s your favourite season?

T: How many seasons are there in a year?

I like spring. Because it is warm in spring, the flowers bloom. It’s beautiful.

Which season do you like? Why? Discuss in groups.
