Reading Good afternoon, everyone. It’s my great honor to stand here to share my lesson with you. The content of my lesson is Senior English for China Book5 Unit 2 The United Kingdom. I’ll be ready to begin this lesson from nine parts: Teaching content, Knowledge Aims, Ability Aims, Emotional Aim, Analysis of the teaching material, Analysis of the students, key teaching ponints and difficult points, Teaching Methods and Aids, Teaching procedures, and Blackboard design. First, let me talk about the teaching content. Teaching content:

1.Teach students read and understand the passage

2.Help the students improve their reading ability.

Knowledge Aims:

1. Learn and grasp some new words and expressions. 2.Improve students reading skills and ability. 3.Get all students to learn something more about the UK. Ability Aims:

To develop the Ss’ abilities of reading and writing

Let the Ss learn the reading skills of fast-reading and careful reading ability and get the main idea of each part and each passage

2.Encourage the students to learn from the UK and to show interest in geography and places in UK Analysis of the Teaching Material:(教材分析) This passage tells something about UK. If we want to learn English Well, we should know more about UK. Analysis of the Students (学情分析) 1.Most students are short of vocabulary, It is difficult for them read and understand English passage. 2.Make all students grasp the reading skills and like reading English passage. 3.Train all students reading skills and ability. 本节课是一节新课标必修课，能较好地运用现代教育信息技术与高中英语课堂教学相结合，习能力。所以这节课中通过安排学生的个人探索、协作学习、讨论等

2.本节课学习的过程中，注重师生之间、同学之间互动，使学生的合作意识加强，自主学习能力得到了培养和锻炼。这种合作学习的教学方式使学生由“被动”的学转变为“主动”的学，加深了学生对课文的理解和记忆，取得了很好的效果

七.教学反思、总结

本课是新课标人教版高中英语选修九的Unit3的一节阅读课。

1.能较好地运用现代教育信息技术与高中英语课堂教学相结合，使用多媒体课件演示辅助教学，既让学生轻松学习，又有需要深层思考的阅读理解活动和讨论活动，不同的任务设置激发了学生的学习兴趣和用英语表达的欲望的同时，也帮助学生形成阅读策略，掌握课文知识。有效地完成了本课的教学目标，提高课堂教学效率。

2．在这节课学习的实施过程中，注重师生之间、同学之间互动，使学生的合作意识加强，主体精神得到了培养和锻炼。这种合作学习的教学方式使学生由“被动”的学转变为“主动”的学，加深了学生对课文的理解和记忆，取得了很好的效果。
