How to write a congratulatory letter

Teaching goals: 1. Developing the communication skills of writing. 2. Improving the ability of writing. Teaching important points: 1.Let students know about what three steps of congratulatory letter is. 2. Developing the ability of writing. 3.Have students’ learn using different sentence structures of writing.

Analysis of the students:

Most students grasp some words and sentence patterns, however, they can’t use them correctly and properly. They need do more exercises to improve their writing.

Teaching procedures: step1. Congratulatory Letter

Three steps

1. 说明祝贺是由并表达自己热烈、诚挚的祝贺；

2. 对喜讯进行积极评价（包括被祝贺人过去的努力和优秀能力）；

3. 再次表达衷心的祝福及未来美好发展前景的祝愿。

语气要真诚，自然、亲切动人
