教法说明:

1. 阅读训练：利用课本阅读材料及课堂教学，训练学生阅读理解题的解题方法与技巧．

2 .利用挑战、视觉、听觉等刺激调动学生对单元话题的兴趣，回顾已有的信息并帮助学生表达出来，并为后来的写作准备一些词汇和句型，温故而知新。

3. 口语训练：在学生了解了西方绘画艺术的历史、中西方各种艺术形式与风格，各时代的著名画家以及他们的作品特点之后，引导学生讨论这些问题，目的在于让他们了解绘画艺术及其各个历史发展时期的不同风格，培养他们对艺术的兴趣，以提高对比，归纳，总结能力和口语表达能力。

4．“语法填空”设计通过讨论，结合高考中“语法填空”的模式，训练学生对语法的分析、归纳、综合运用能力。

（一）学生分析：

教学对象为高中二年级学生，智力发展趋于成熟。他们的认知能力有了进一步的发展，渐渐形成用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力，因此我特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。他们学习英语的方法由死记硬背转向理解和应用，逐渐形成自己的学习技能和策略，学会把语言学习与现实生活联系起来。通过任务型课堂活动和学习，学生的学习自主性得到加强，能主动参与到活动中去，成为课堂的主体。学生已经完成了高一英语的学习，他们适应得很快，虽然两个班的英语基础比较弱，但上课的气氛还是比较活跃，积极配合老师，师生互动也较好，能通过小组讨论形式进行自主探究学习。

（二）教材分析

这一课是本单元第2个课时。在第一节课，学生掌握了西方绘画艺术的历史、中西方各种艺术形式与风格，各时代的著名画家以及他们的作品特点的基本的信息。而这篇reading passage是更加详细地介绍绘画艺术及其各个历史发展时期的不同风格一些情况。于是我又增加采用了我自己另外准备的材料引入，让学生对这课的话题作好心理准备，也为了完成本单元的目标作了铺垫。我觉得合理使用手中的教材，根据学生实际水平进行整合或增减的教学设计，才能让不同层次的学生在课堂上都有所收获，达到培养他们对艺术的兴趣和提高学生的对比，归纳，总结能力和口语表达能力。

（三）教学目标

一、单词组词挑战，检查学生在前一节课所学的部分词汇掌握情况，这一形式能很好吸引学生注意力。

二、复习warming up里所学过的有关ART的信息。

三、进入阅读部分，设计出帮助学生吸收和运用语言材料的多个任务，结合图表归纳法等让学生在完成任务的过程中体验、实践、参与、交流和合作，实现任务目标，感受学习的成功和快乐。

四、学生阅读完毕，熟悉课文内容之后，设计一个较难的任务——

归纳不同时期的艺术作品的特点，从而锻炼学生的分析、归纳、语法、口头表达等英语综合运用能力。

（七）Teaching aids 教具准备

A projector and some slides. 使用多媒体教学，从网上下载部分相关材料，制作PowerPoint课件呈现教学内容，增加教学的直观性，使教学节奏紧凑，信息量充足，以便刺激学生获取信息的多种感官，调动学生的学习积极性，提高学生学习英语的效果。
