Step Ⅰ

Show the students some English verbal jokes and guide them to enjoy the. Step Ⅱ

Read some of the customer and waiter jokes in the textbook and match the joke with the explanation.

Step Ⅲ

Give the students some time to read the jokes and then discuss to understand the jokes Patient: Doctor, I’ve lost my memory.
