一、整体设计思路

本课教学对象为六年级学生，他们已经有初步的英语短文阅读体验，但还没有形成明确的阅读策略意识，为使学生逐渐适应较长语篇的阅读，我探索着在阅读教学中拓展训练学生的阅读策略。本课教学思路为：激活导入---速读了解---细读理解---拓展延伸。为激发学生的学习积极性，提高课堂教学效率，教学过程中将学生分成两组，进行小组比拼，最终进行奖励。

二、教学目标

1.学会运用预测、寻读、复述等阅读策略理解文本。

2.学会运用比较级对事物进行描述。

3.培养学生将所学语言运用到实际生活中进行解决问题的能力；让学生体会到团结合作的重要性。

三、教学重难点

重点：理解文本，完成本文主要内容的复述。

难点：准确运用比较级对事件进行描述；能够根据所学内容体会团队合作的重要性。

四、教学过程
