Warm-up (5mins)

Daily greeting-----sing an English song together; Go over some words and sentences of last class -----“free talk”:

discuss two questions in groups:

1.how many people are there in your family? 2. What do they do? 2.

Presentation (5mins) Words: grandfather, grandmother, driver, restaurant, company, library

Let all students read these words one by one loudly

Words game time：

“大小声”，“金手指”

(3mins) Back to the textbook: (2 parts) Part1: 1st, extensive reading. (10mins) Listen and answer with 2 questions: 1. Where does Gaowei come from? 2. How old

is Gaowei? 2nd, intensive reading. (10mins) Read together before finishing a few questions: 1. How many people are there in Gaowei’s family? 2. What are his parents’ jobs? 3. Where do they work?

Part2: 1st: Intensive reading: listen and underline. (5mins) Play the audio clip. Listen to the text and then finish the questions. Questions: 1.

Where does Amy come from?

2. How old is she?

3. What class is she in? 4. How many people are there in Amy’s family?

5. Where do her parents work?

Ask some students to give answers respectively after each group discussing about them, 2nd: read loudly. Read after the audio sentence by sentence. (5mins) External knowledge: Get to know more about The format of a letter. (2mins)

Production: 1. let students read the text on repeat. 2. Students can learn how do they introduce their parents jobs and what can they say. Summary: key words & important sentences Let’s chant.

Sing the Letter Song of this lesson. Pay attention to the pronunciation. Let students listen and follow. Sing loudly.

七．作业Homework:

1.Copy the new words and text. 2.Recite the whole paragraphs. 3.Write a letter including: your name, your age, which class are you in, how many people are there in your family, what are your parents' jobs and where do they work.

Reflection: 本节课知识较丰富，内容承上启下，既有对前几次课程的归纳和运用，也有适当的新知识点。难度适中，贴近生活，趣味性强。在教学设计中，首先复习单词和重点句型，小组讨论相关话题。新知呈现中先单词，后课文，由浅入深，由熟入新,在单词学习部分进行大声朗读并且配合游戏，加深学生记忆。课文学

习过程中，先泛听后跟读再精读，学生小组讨论并回答文中相关问题，最后总结归纳。在评价过程中，引导学生对自己课堂上的表现给予自我评价，教师简要记录学生的课堂表现。A(优秀)，B（良好），C（继续努力）。让各组通过每个学生的综合表现，评出优秀个人和小组。
