The Clever Monkey

一、学情分析: 本课教学对象为三年级学生。三年级的学生，由于年龄小，活泼好动，好奇心强，有着极强的求知欲和表现欲。经过半年的英语学习，学生们掌握了一些简单的英语知识，学习兴趣浓厚，积极性高。在课堂上教师应以鼓励表扬为主，鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱。让学生们在玩玩、做做、说说中学习英语。注重培养学生学习英语的兴趣，营造英语氛围，鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会，让他们尝试成功的喜悦。

三年级下册第二单元是在第一单元学习农场里的动物的基础上，继续讲述动物园里的动物的外形特点、住所以及它们所吃的食物。通过本单元的学习，学生可以了解有关动物的相关知识，培养起热爱动物，热爱大自然的情感。

二、教学目标: 1.知识技能目标：

学生能在图片和老师的帮助下听懂故事。

2）

学生能在图片和老师的帮助下读懂故事。

3）

学生能在图片和老师的帮助下正确朗读故事。

4）

学生能在图片和老师的帮助下，表演故事。

2.情感态度目标：

通过小组合作完成角色扮演，培养学生主动与人交流及合作的意识。

3. 学习策略：

1）学生能够通过看故事题目及插图预测故事、推测故事大意。

2）学生对所学内容能主动练习并实践，积极运用所学的英语进行表达和交流，能进行角色扮演讲故事。

三、教学重、难点: 1、理解全文大意。

2、培养学生阅读英语故事的兴趣。

Ask the students what they know about the wolf.

2.What does it eat? 3.Do you like it? Why?(You can say it in Chinese)

Ask the students what they know about the sheep.

1.What is this? 2.What does it eat? 3.Do you like it? Why? Ask the students what they know about the monkey 1.What does the monkey eat?

2.Is the monkey clever聪明? [设计意图]通过展示与故事内容相关的三个人物，让学生说出它们的特征，为下面的具体故事环节作铺垫。

二、新授

教师出示陷阱的图片，引入故事。

One day, a wolf comes by the hole.Suddenly,it falls into the hole.Do yu want to save him? Why? Pre-reading Show the pictures of the story and talk about the pictures. 

Please look at this picture. (P8) What does the wolf say? Is he regretful? [设计意图] 教师带领学生迅速浏览书中图片，让学生猜测故事的发展，通过提问帮助学生了解故事内容大意，由最后的问题自然过渡到视听故事回答问题的环节，继续为下面的故事教

学做铺垫。

Read the whole story. Try to answer the questions: 1.How many animals are there in the story? 2.At last （最后）where is the wolf? 3.In the story, which animal do you like, the sheep, the wolf or the monkey? Why?（你喜欢哪个动物，绵羊，狼和猴子？为什么？）

[设计意图] 学生观看生动形象的故事的视频，帮助学生整体感知故事，锻炼学生听力，用一个简单的问题检查视听后的理解情况。

三、拓展

[设计意图] 让学生发挥想象，猎人来了，把狼杀死了。学生进而分角色表演故事，让故事进行延伸和拓展，加深对故事的理解。

2.What did you learn from the story? We shouldn’t trust others easily.

We can use our wisdom to solve the problem. [设计意图]通过阅读故事，从故事中理解真正的含义：不要轻信别人，学会要用智慧去解决问题。

本节课是一节小学三年级的故事课，猴子用自己的智慧救了羊，狼也得到了了应有的下场。我通过看插图预测故事、推测故事大意的方法帮助学生阅读，逐步提高学生的阅读能力。学生们积极配合，兴趣很浓。在表演环节及拓展环节表现得也很不错。如果能给学生更多的展示机会就更好了。
