本课是人教版小学英语（一年级起点）四年级下册unit 6 Countries 本课集中介绍了国家的表达法，然后通过“Where are you from ?”来询问他人来自哪个国家及其回答用语“I’m from ....”表达自己来自哪个国家以及在该国家可以做的事情“You can ....”。

三、学情分析

学生通过三年半的英语学习已经具备一定的英语基础，具有一定的英语表达能力和自主学习能力，能够听懂基本的课堂用语，养成了主动倾听、积极思考、善于观察图片、乐于回答问题、敢于用英语表达自己的想法的好习惯；通过老师的引导也能掌握基本的知识，不过对于句型方面，仍然需要反复操练才能很好地掌握。

四、教学目标

1.知识目标：单词：Canada , Australia , China , the UK , the USA . 句型：--- Where are you from? --- I’m from .... --- You can .... 2.技能目标：通过本课的学习，学生能简单介绍自己所来自的国家以及在这个国家能做的事。

3.情感目标：能够积极参与课堂上的各种活动，与同伴合作，并能在活动中认真倾听同伴发言及尝试表达自己的观点。

五、教学重难点

1.教学重点：A.掌握本课单词，做到发音准确，理解词义，语调自然。

B.能使用“Where are you from ?”来询问他人来自哪个国家及其回答用语“I’m from ....”表达自己来自哪个国家以及在该国家可以做的事情“You can ....”。

2．教学难点：A.本课单词Australia , koala , Disneyland 等的发音。

B．灵活的运用句型“Where are you from ?”来询问他人来自哪个国家及其回答用语“I’m from ....”表达自己来自哪个国家以及在该国家可以做的事情“You can ....”。
