There stands a beautiful little town in the western part of France. Here you can see two- story wooden buildings of different fancy

styles, which were designed

by the local people themselves after many debates. When spring comes, people will decorate them with carefully- selected flowers on the whole buildings, which have belonged

to

the town people for hundreds of years. Though old and kind of shabby, many artists think highly of

its great cultural value. Every year thousands of artists from around the world come here in search of the rare and amazing beauty. Facing such a lovely town, we find it easy to imagine its former appearance. Having gone through many dynasties and trials, her beauty still amazed visitors. Troops came and went, taking away jewels, valuable paintings and vases. Luckily, two thousand brave sailors found a secret entrance to one castle and killed the enemies’ leaders. It could never have recovered its name of honey. Since then, people will prepare many informal receptions of sailors. But later, a sudden major earthquake struck the little town, resulting in some surface sinking and many families living

half the people survived

the fallen stones, trying to save the buried. Many people in the nearby town participated in the rescue, in return

for which many young girls of this little town, including maids, married the young fellows of the nearby town.
