非限制性定语从句，只作附加说明，不起限制作用，从句往往用

基本用法（非限制性定从）

（3）The reason, why he looks unhappy today, is unknown to us. 注：why不能引导非限制性定语从句，做宾语时不能省略。应用for which （4）They have four children, the daughter of who is working in that big company now. 注：“介词+关系代词”引导非限制性定语从句，指人时用whom, 指物时用which. As/which 区别

As 引导非限定从句，有“正如”之意，可位于句首，句中which 不能位于句首
