1.To learn the right reading methods and under the passage well 2. To know more about Australia 3. To make sure how to describe a place. 4. To use the key words in the texts properly The level of my class is very low and they have been tired of the English learning. Only a few students can catch up with the progress of the English course. For one good point, Students are interested in some famous countries; Australia is a very interesting place for them. So I just plan to cultivate their reading skills by giving those tasks and let them finish it through group discussion.

(5minutes) I will ask students the questions about content of last class, Ss should answer together. (1) To review the content of last class. (2) To make preparation for reading learning.

Brain storm (5 minutes) 1.

The teacher will ask a question: Q: When you hear the name” Australia” for the first time, what will you think about?

(About my questions, students may can’t answer, because Australis is unfamiliar and far away for them, after all) the teacher will make a brief introduction about the country on PPT and tell Ss that the passage they will learn next is about Australia.
