内容概要：这是一节阅读课，这节课主要从读前、读中和读后三个阶段来进行课堂教学设计，并通过设置多样化问题反复让学生掌握阅读地各项技能，以达到高效课堂的效果。

设计思想: 新的高中英语课程改革的核心思想是“为了每一个学生的发展”，以提高学生的知识素养和情感态度为主导，努力培养学生的知识运用能力和实践创新能力，教师应更新教育观念，优化教学方式，本单元的教学目标重在培养学生的语言技能、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识，在阅读中渗透情感教育。

教材分析：教材包括Pre-reading、Reading和Comprehending三个部分。Pre-reading部分结合学生自身有关朋友的经验和看法进行读前热身，让学生带着悬念进入Reading的学习，切合学生的心理。Comprehending部分是学生对已学Reading知识的加工、处理和再现，以达到对学生阅读策略能力的培养。

学情分析：刚刚进入高中阶段，英语水平差距较大，对英语科目的学习兴趣差异也不均，学习过程中对老师的依赖性太强，加之可能会缺乏二战的背景知识而产生一定的理解困难。

教学目标：

Ⅰ.Knowledge aims: Get the students to learn some useful new words and expression in the text. Help the students to find the words and phrases

that they find most difficult and help them to understand. Ⅱ.Ability aims: Help the students develop their reading ability and learn to use some reading skimming、scanning and so on. Ⅲ.Emotional aims: Enable the students to realize the importance of friends and friendship, value the friendship between friends by learning the reading text. 教学重点：Get the students to learn different reading skills. 教学难点：Get the students to learn different reading skills for different reading purposes. 教学方法：⒈ Task-based teaching and learning ⒉ Cooperative learning ⒊ Discussion 教具：The multimedia and other normal teaching tools 教学过程：

StepⅠ. Greetings and Lead-in.(3minutes) 设计问题：围绕“朋友”这一主题展开问答，容易调动学生参与的积极性，培养了他们的语言表达能力，达到了“师生互动”的学习效果。

⑴ Do you have friends? Do you need friends?

⑵ Do you think friendship is important in your life? Why? ⑶ Do you have any good friends? What do you think of them? ⑷ What kind of friends do you want to make? ⑸ What qualities should a good friend have? StepⅡ.Pre-reading.(5minutes) 设计问题：⑴ Does a friend always have to be a person? What else can be your friend? ⑵ Do you think a diary can become your friend? Why or why not? ⑶ What do you know about World War Ⅱ？（with pictures about World War Ⅱon PPT）

⑷ Look at the pictures and the heading, guess what the text might be about. StepⅢ. While-reading.(20minutes) First reading(5minutes) Skimming with two questions: 1.

Who/What is Anne’s best friend? 2.

When did the story happen? Second reading(15minutes) 1.

Carefully reading while listening to the tape with 3 questions: 1)

Summarize the main idea for each paragraph in one sentence. (students May discuss it in pairs) 3.

Do exercise2 on page3. StepⅣ. Post-reading.(10minutes) 1.

Get the students to do the exercises in the part comprehending. This part helps students further understand the text by doing multiple choices questions and answers and matching. 2.

Group work. Think about and work in groups to discuss the following questions. 1)

What would you do if your family were going to be killed just because they did something the Emperor did not like? 2)

How would you plan to hide? 3)

Where would you arrange to get food given to you every day? 4)

What would you do to pass the time? StepⅤ.Homework. (2minutes) 1.

Read the passage again and try to retell it.

Finish off the related Workbook exercises. 3.
