Design Revise Noun Clauses (as the Subject, Object and Predicative) Ⅰ The teaching analysis

This is the third period of Unit1, Module 8 ,a grammar lesson about revising Noun Clauses (as the Subject, Object and Predicative).Mastering noun clauses is not easy for students, especially after they have learnt other types of clauses, for students can be confused with the usages of some conjunctions in different clauses. Therefore, I have an intention to design some effective tasks and activities to stimulate their interests and improve their abilities of learning grammar. Ⅱ

The Three-dimension objectives

Knowledge objectives: Students will better master noun clauses as the subject, object, and predicative after this lesson. Ability objectives: Students will be able to correctly use noun clauses to express their ideas in their speaking and writing. Moral objectives: 1.Students will realize the importance of grammar learning . 2.Students will be more confident and encouraged to enjoy overcoming the difficulties positively in the language learning.

Ⅲ Teaching important points Get students to grasp the gists of learning noun clauses, such as the concept, the use of conjunction and so on. Have a free talk with students to introduce the teacher to them. While talking, the teacher is to attempt to use the noun clauses as many as possible to make students focus on the target language . Step 2 Identifying the functions of noun clauses
