教学/活动过程

Step 1 Lead-in Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face, which is said by Victor, Hugo. We have known something about it by Charlie Chaplin, and today we will enjoy our students ' performance to further experience the English humor. (通过观看学生自编自演的幽默故事来激发学生的学习兴趣，同时使学生对英式幽默形成一定的感知。) Step 2 Role play Sherlock Holmes is a character created by the English writer Sir ArthurConan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes became the prototype (原型) for the modern mastermind detective. Doyle introduced Holmes in 1887 in the short story A Study in Scarlet.

Doctor Watson is Sherlock’s best friend and partner. 1)Read a short, funny story on Page 22 about the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend Doctor Watson. 2)Then change the story into a short dialogue.
