一、教材内容分析

本课教学内容是新课标必修四 Unit2 Working the Land Language points，本单元的中心话题围绕袁隆平的生平事迹，reading课文是一篇人物传记。本课是学习Reading中的语言知识点。学生需要理解掌握相应的语言知识点。

二、学情分析

学生们的英语基本水平，听、说、读、写能力还相对薄弱，不过学生经过必修一至必修三的学习，已经可以使用一些策略去获取信息。教师要求学生提前预习语言知识点，相互交流，积极思考，调动他们学习英语的积极性，培养他们掌握并灵活运用知识点的能力。学生对本单元的主题“袁隆平”的传记有着浓厚的兴趣。

三、教学目标

（一）知识与技能目标

1. 掌握快速阅读英语课文的方法。

2．强化学生自主学习的意识，培养学生组织、运用语言的能力。

（二）过程与方法目标

1. 培养学生独立阅读能力，通过自主、协作学习，获取信息和处理信息的能力。

2. 培养学生分析问题、解决问题的能力。

（一）教学策略

本节课的教学采用以学生为主体、教师为主导。教师在教学过程中引导、启发、组织、帮助学生学习。

（二）教法设计

1. 演示法。展示图文并茂的课件，便于学生直观的去学习课文。

2.任务驱动教学法。教师设计导学案，学生依据导学案预习课文。学生在老师的指导、帮助下对问题进行分析、讨论，解决问题，从而完成任务。
