三．教材分析

本课时的主题是“人物简介”。引导学生使用描写人物适当的词汇及掌握一些丰富的句式，使他们的写作技能得以提高，并通过互联网学习一些描写杰出人物的优秀英文习作，有助于学生提高学习效率，形成自主学习的能力，同时也可以通过榜样示范陶冶学生情操。教学中教师也可联系班级实际，灵活利用各种素材组织教学过程和内容。

四．教学目标

1. 知识目标

1)

To have the students review the sentence patterns to describe a person. 2)

To encourage the students to read the passage and find out the right order to introduce a person. 3)

To have them use the suitable words to make the sentences and then combine the sentences into a passage using some conjunctions.

2. 能力目标

1)

To encourage the students to surf the Internet for useful information. 2)

To improve the students’ writing skill.

3. 情感目标

1)

To stimulate their interest in English.

2)

To make the students know some great persons and write the introduction of them.

4、教学重难点

1）To make the students find out the right order to write down a brief introduction of a person. 2）To get the students to master the skills of polishing a composition. 3) To inspire the students to discover the right order to introduce a person. 3)

在课堂教学中，我始终遵循“教师是主导，学生是主体”的原则，采用各种方法引导学生积极参与。

1．利用猜一猜、讨论、提问等形式引入主题。

2．创设各种学习活动，促进师生互动、生生互动，培养学生合作学习意识，有利课堂活动开展，活跃气氛，提高课堂效率。

3. 采用互联网辅助教学提高课堂效率，扩大课堂容量，直观展示课堂相关内容，使课堂内容丰富充实，并激发学生的学习兴趣。

1. 百度有关Allan Stewart的信息

2. 百度搜索有关描写人物外表与性格特点的英语词汇。

3. 写一篇介绍班上一个同学的文章。

How to describe a person 1.

Encourage the students to discuss the three passages and find out the right order to introduce a person. 2.

Show them the right order to introduce a person. 1). age, sex, birth-place, background (概况) 2). appearance, character (外表、性格) 3). education (教育背景) 4). big events in his or her life (in order of time) (经历、生平) 5). evaluation (评价) 3.

Step3. Writing Skills 1.Allan，澳大利亚人，生于1915年3月7号，于1936年获得第一个学位。(过去分词短语作状语或定语) 2.持着活到老学到老，及人要不断挑战自己的观点，通过努力，他又获得一个学位----医学博士学位。（同位语从句）

3.80多岁时决定学习法律, 2006年获得硕士学位,成为世界上获得硕士学位年龄最大的人。（定语从句或分词作状语）

4.2012年通过网络学习获得他的第四个学位。（by doing sth.）

Step4. Guessing Game

Get students to write a composition to describe one of their classmates using five sentences. (Show them a version first) and then guess who the article is about.

Step5. Summary

Sum up what we have learned in this period.

教学反思

本节课按照高三一轮复习的要求设计教学环节，让学生熟悉5句话的人物写作。我紧紧遵循由易到难原则，循序渐进、层层深入，在互联网搜索下，引导学生自主思考、合作交流。所选取的例子都是学生熟悉的人物，所以能吸引学生的兴趣，人人积极参与，课堂目标达成良好。
