Discovering useful structures (on Page 21) 1. Look at the following sentence, paying attention to the underlined part.: Over time I have been changed a lot. Let the students try to find out the sentences in the present perfect passive voice from the reading passage. (1). As the years have gone by, I have been made smaller and smaller. (2). Since then, my family and I have been used by billions of people to deal with information with each other around the world by the Internet. （3）Over time my memory has developed so much that, like an elephant, I never forget anything I have been told! （4）Since the 1970s many new applications have been found for me. （5）I have also been put into robots and used to make mobile phones as well as help with medical operations.

肯定句：主语＋have/ has been done 否定句：主语＋have/ has not been done 一般疑问句：Have/ Has ＋

主语＋been done 3.引导学生试着从所观察到的语言现象中总结出语言规则和语法规律。

现在完成时的被动语态表示动作发生在过去, 到现在已经完成或对现在仍有影响。 （1）主动语态即主语为动作的执行者；被动语态即主语为动作的承受者。现在完成时的被动语态同它的主动语态一样，强调过去的动作对现在造成的影响或结果，但主语为动作的承受者，表示“……已经被……”。

The new school has been set up. 新学校已经建成了。

（2）在使用现在完成时的被动语态时要注意以下几点： a. 副词的位置

often, usually, always, never, hardly, seldom等副词置于have / has和been中间。如: [误] Such a man has been hardly believed. [正] Such a man has hardly been believed.

b. 并不是所有动词都有被动语态

happen, take place, break out, belong to, cost, last等不及物动词或词组无被动语态。如：

[误] Great changes have been taken place in China since 1978. [正] Great changes have taken place in China since 1978. c. open, break, drop等不强调动作发出者时常用主动语态。

d. 短语动词不可分割或省略其中的介词或副词。如：

The patients have been taken good care of. 4. Do exercises2 and 3 on P21 of the textbook and exercises on P34-35 of the reference book alone and then work in groups and check the answers. 5. Put the Chinese into English to complete the sentences. 1. You can see the house ___________ _______ (未油漆) for years. 2. How many workers _____________ (已派遣) to build the railway? 3. — Why does Mary look so unhappy?

Homework Do exercises1-3 on P57 of the textbook as homework.

Step 1:Greeting and lead-in Find out the sentences in the present perfect passive voice from the reading passage and translate them into Chinese.

Step 2 Discovering the structures Let the students discover the structures of the present perfect passive voice from these sentences:

Step 3 Finding the rule 学生读《新课程导学》P34上的讲解，结合所给的例句，总结出现在完成时的被动语态的基本用法和使用时应注意的问题。

Step4 Practice(Applying the rule) The students do exercises2 and 3 on P21 of the textbook and exercises on P34-35 of the reference book alone and then work in groups and check the answers.

Step 5 Further practice (Consolidation exercises) The students first do these exercises by themselves, then they discuss their answers in groups and correct their mistakes.

Collect the students’ common problems from each group about the usage of the present perfect passive voice.

Step 6:Summing up and homework The students sum up what they have learned today and do exercises1-3 on P57 of the textbook as homework. 课后反思
