Teaching Procedures:

Step 1: Lead in

1. Play a video of a song Lemon Tree for the students and guide them to answer the questions according to the video.

2. Help the students to combine the questions and answers into sentences using attributive clause. Step 2：Guessing Game By playing the guessing game, the students may have a better understanding of attributive clause and use them freely. Step 3: Show Time

Show the students a video of school life and ask them to describe the video using attributive clause. Key words and possible sentence structures are given. Step 4: Polish Time

Group work: Ask the students to use attributive clause to polish their previous writing about school life. They are divided into several groups to describe their dormitory, friends, teachers, study and so on.

Step 5: Sharing Time

Ask two students from each group to present their work. One describes a chosen aspect of school life with attributive clause while the other writes on the blackboard the best sentence they made with attributive clause. Step 6: Diary Sharing By sharing a piece of the teacher’s diary, the teacher asks the students to improve the diary with attributive clause.

Step 7: Homework Writing a letter. Situation: Emma, who is your best friend, is studying abroad. Recently she sent you a letter and wanted to know more about your high school life. Please write to her soon.

写作内容：

1. 表达收到来信的喜悦以及对Emma的关心；

2. 介绍你在南校的生活（至少三个方面）；

3. 相约寒假见面。
