教学材料分析：

本课材料是人教版新教材六年级下Unit 1 C story time的内容，本课时通过阅读趣味故事来复习巩固第一单元所学语言，增加语言的输入。

学情描述：

本课授课对象是人教版新教材六年级下册的学生，他们已经学过三年多的学习，积累了不少词汇和句型.在本单元前五课时已经学习了taller/stronger/heavier...等比较级的单词以及句型How tall/heavy are you? I’m... than you.为本课时故事的学习奠定了充足的知识基础。

教学设计思路：

本节课是一节故事课，文本篇幅较长，难度稍大大。因此在导入环节我设计free talk活动，意图调动学生的参与积极性，又让学生对前几课时的句型和比较级做了复习。然后过渡到animals school club，通过观察图片，听录音等方式创设一个贯穿整节课的一个情境：森林学校的社团在招募新成员，Zoom and Zip的足球社需要找一个守门员，来面试的动物能不能入选。让学生在这个情境中来完成一系列的任务：看图猜测，听音回答以及故事的后续发展。学生能通过这些活动，逐步完成达到本节课的目标。

教学目标：

1.学生能通过图片以及在教师在帮助下理解故事内容。

2.学生能够正确朗读并表演故事。

3.学生能够在情境中运用how tall are you? How heavy are you? I’m ... than .... 4. 学生能根据情境，给故事续编内容。

带着问题整体观看故事，了解故事主要内容，培养学生看故事获得主要信息的能力。

通过师生互相接球的动作，使学生轻松理解catch。

通过生动形象的表演让学生理解关键句，并为理解football needs teamwork奠定基础。
