ⅠTeaching aims: 1.Students can use the present progressive tense to describe the pic--tures. 2.Students can ask and answer questions about the picture fluently 3.Acrouse Ss’interests in using English.
ⅡLanguage points : 1. To use the following sentences: What are you doing here? I’m looking at the picture.
Is he looking at the moon? No, he isn’t. He is looking at the sun. 2.To learn the following phrases: look at, talk about, glad to, over there ⅢTeaching difficulties : Make sure student can use them in the real situation ⅣTeaching aids: PPT, textbook, cards, pictures ⅤTeaching steps:

一. warming-up/Revision:
1.Let’s chant: play the cartoon.
2.Show some pictures, let Ss say phrases and then answer quetions. Look! What is he doing? He’s playing the guitar /violin.
二.Presentation 1.Listen and answer questions:what are they doing?what’s the man in the picture doing? 2.listen to the sentens and then fill . 3.show the PPt Let students use the present progressive tense to describe the picture. Learn the phrases and sentens:Look at picture. He is looking at picture. Talk about. They are talking about .stand.He is just standing there .Cousin. This is my cousin. 4.Read the dialogue .explain ‘’is he looking at moon?No.he isnt. ‘’
5.Show the pictures and let Ss say it one by one. ’ 三.prctice 1. Show the pictures .choose the right answer. 2.Role play. 四.Production
1. Let Ss work in pairs, ask and answer about the photos like this. 2.Show the picture and Make a new dialogue. 五.Summary/ homwork
