一、教学目标
1.通过真实的语境,引导学生在观察、探索的过程中,运用What is he/she doing? He/She is v+ing...等句式进行交流。
2.在25课出现核心句式的前提下借助生动的拟人化图片,引导学生熟读并书写短语:make a call; write an email; wash the clothes; clean the room.和句子:I’m cleaning my room.并能在真实的语境中灵活运用。
3.通过chant感知字母“u”的发音。
二、教学重、难点
词汇词组搭配和现在进行时的用法,能用现在进行时准确描述和表达正在发生的动作。
三、教学准备
单词卡片,图片, PPT课件。
四、教学步骤
Step 1. Warm up 1.Listen to the song “What are you doing?” and do the action together. 2.TPR: Teacher speaks the words ,students do the
action as quickly as they can.(run,jump,eat,play basketball,play football,walk,swim,sing,dance.) 3.Pair work to review the “present progressive”. Show the PPT. Look at the pictures of some famous persons. And talk about with partners “Who is she/he? What is she/he doing?”.Then talk about them one by one. Step 2. New Lesson 1.Learn the new phrase. A:clean the room. Show the picture(Lily is cleaning the room) T: Look! Do you know who she is? Ss: She is lily. T: What is she doing? I have four phrases for you ,can you choose one? Ss choose the one “clean the room” ,read it and practice(Read the phrase and show everyone how do you clean your room. Teacher stops at one student and asks “What is he/she doing?”, students answer.)Then write the phrase together. B:write an email Teacher shows the card “write an email”
and asks students to read it one by one. Then look at picture
and make a sentence: Dad is writing an email. Next ask students to practice :What is dad doing? Dad is writing an email. Then write the phrase together. C:wash the clothes Show the phrase “wash the clothes” and four pictures ,ask students to choose one picture, then learn how to read the phrase. Next ask students to give one question ,practice with partners how to answer. Then write the phrase together. D:make a call. Teacher does the action(make a call) asks students to guess what is teacher doing? Students try to speak the sentence :Teacher is making a call. Read and then fill in the blanks. 2.Teacher asks students to take out the pictures they have drawn ,and practice with partners “what is he/she doing ? She is…”. Step 3. Practice 1.Guessing game Show the PPT, one student look at the picture ,do the action, and ask “What is he/she doing?”

other guess. 2.Chant Listen and feel the pronunciation of letter “u”, then chant together. Step 4.sum up Show the four pictures on the blackboard. Ask students to match the phrases with them, and make a sentence with them:1.Dad is writing an email.2.Mum is washing the clothes.3.Lily is making a call.4.Lily is cleaning the room. Step 5.Homework 1.Writ the new phrases. 2.Finish the exercise books. 五、板书设计
