一、学情分析：

本课是三年级下册第二单元的第二课,主要学习动物园里的动物，tiger, wolf, bear, snake,然后说明这些动物的大小、长短特征,内容贴近学生的日常生活,围绕学生感兴趣的动物话题进行。在学习本课之前,孩子们已经积累了部分动物类的单词,通过学习本课,学生进一步积累有关动物的单词,并能简单的对其进行描述。

二、学生分析：

本课的学习对象是小学三年级10岁左右的学生,他们活泼好动,注意力持续性短。这类年龄段的学生,他们需要一个轻松活跃的学习氛围,同时他们需要老师的引导才能更好的投入到课堂的学习中去。

三、教学目标：

1. 知识目标：

(1)学习动物词汇wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake;描述动物特征的词汇long , short.

(2)会唱英语歌：Big and Small

2. 能力目标：

(1)能够听、说、读、写wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake;;认识并能听、说long , short.

(2) 会唱英语歌：Big and Small

(3)能够在真实情境中运用本课所学知识与人交流。

3. 情感目标：

(1)保持学生持久的英语学习兴趣。

(2)教育学生热爱大自然，保护动物。

四、教学重难点：

能够用所学单词描述动物特征，初步认识be动词is, are的用法。.

五、教学准备：

单词卡片，自制幻灯片。

六、教学过程：

Step1.Warming-up and Revision

1.Greetings and Free Talk

T: Hello! Boys and girls.

S: Hello! Teacher. 2)

Revision

Guess animals : Show some animal pictures , then ask the students to guess what it is.

Step2. Presentation and Practice

1. T: Today let’s learn some more animals at the zoo.

Look, this is a zoo. Listen carefully, who is coming?

(大屏幕上呈现动物园的图片，让

学生根据图片，自然引出词汇tiger,教学tiger）

(电脑屏幕上呈现狼的一部分，让学生去猜测，

Who lives here?引出wolf。

呈现熊和蛇的图片，教师问Look carefully, who is coming?引出bear和snake)

Read and spell the new words “wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake”.

Ask and answer “What is it? It is a ___. ”

2. Practice T: There are some animal cards , if you know what it is, please stand up and say the name of the animal quickly.

(出现动物图片，引导学生们说出它们的名字) 采用吹气球，传卡片等多种形式操练这四个单词。

Ask the students to describe two animals in groups of four. Then ask some students to describe it.

Step3 let’s play

Guess animals : 1) Show some animal pictures , then ask the students to guess what it is.

2) Ask one student to come to the front, then read the words in PPT. T: Animals are our friends. We should love animals for ever. Let’s do it together.

Step 4 Group Work Do the exercise showed in PPT with your pairs.
