1.To enable students to listen, read and say the words: eleven, twelve, clock, time,

mum. 2.To enable students to listen, read and say the sentences: What time is it? It’s…o’clock. It’s time for…Wake up. Hurry up.

3.To enable students to know about Liu Tao’s day and act his day with partners.

4.To enable students to make a chant about one’s day.

5.To let students enjoy the co-operation with partners and love English. 学情分析

The students are these children that they have been learning English nearly one year,so most of them have basic knowledge of English.However, they rarely speak up in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes.Meanwhile, they are very young,so they are active and curious,interested in many new things.So, during my teaching ,I will create a relaxed atmosphere or situation and strongly recommend

students to speak up and take every possible opportunity to pratice their oral English. 重点难点

1.To enable students to grasp the pronunciation of the new words. 2.To enable students to say and act Liu Tao’s day.

【导入】Step1 Warming up

1.Finger game T: Look ,what’s this?(four numbers) Ss guess freely. 2.Say the numbers “ 1-10 ”together

T: Now ,boys and girls, show me your hand, let’s say together.

3.Magic ears “How many times I beat the drum” (6,5,7)

【讲授】Step Pre－story

1.Teach the new words: eleven, twelve

T: What’s six and five? It’s eleven. Ss

learn to say. T: What’s five and seven? It’s twelve. Ss try to say.

2.The quick answer: eleven or twelve T present:3+8=?12-1=?...Ss give the quick answer. 3.Teach the sentences: What time is it? It’s…o’clock.It’s time for…

A.Here are the twelve numbers. They have a happy family. What is their family? Ss watch and guess. T: It’s a nice clock. It’s also very useful. It can tell us the time.

T: Look, what time is it? It’s three o’clock.

T:What time is it? SS: It’s four o’clock. /It’s eleven o’clock.

B.Here’s another clock. Look ,what time is it? Ss: It’s seven o’clock.

T:Who can you see? That is Miss Ma. What do I do? T:I have breakfast.(Teach the new word: breakfast) T: So, you see. It’s seven o’clock. What do I do? It’s time for breakfast. Ss learn to say: It’s time for..

C. By using the same method, T lead the students to say:It’s time for dinner./It’s time for bed. D. The game: The quick response. T say the time, Ss say “It’s time for…”

T: Do you know about my day? Let me check you. 【讲授】Step3 While－story

T:Here comes another friend. Listen.Who is he? Do you want to know about his day? Listen and tick the time in the story. Stick the cards “It’s time for…” near the right time.

Check the answer by reading the pictures one by one. Picture1 T: What time is it? Ss: It’s seven o’clock.

T: What’s on the table? Ss: It’s breakfast.

T: So, it’s time for breakfast. Right?

T:But Liu Tao is sleeping. What does mum say? Present: Wake up, Taotao. T: If you are Mum, how do you say? Ss try different styles（生气版，急切版，温柔版) A game: ‘Wake up’ action (叫醒的同学帮忙叫醒其他同学) Picture2 T: What time is it? Ss: It’s eight o’clock.

T : Listen, what do you hear? Oh, the bell rings. So it’s time for class? Right?

T: Liu Tao is late. What does Miss Li say? Present: Hurry up. Ss practise with different styles.

Game: T say “Hurry up.”Ss give the quick response, Say OK and run.
