Cultural Relics

1.课型：语言学习

learning about language 2.教学目标：

1）语言能力：学生通过利用各种渠道主动对Unit 1 " Cultural Relics "阅读文章“In Search of the Amber Room”的学习，自己提取对本阅读文本的语言点，学习重点词汇、短语和句型，由此培养学生在学习中，自我管理，自我学习，自我提升的心智特征。

2）学习能力：在情境中学习重点词汇、短语和句型，并运用语言表达讨论完成任务，旨在提升学生用中学的能力。

3）文化意识：学生能够通过学习本文本，不但学到语言知识，同时了解文化遗产—琥珀屋的历史，通过讨论，学会逻辑推理事件发生缘由，，了解遗产价值，增强对人类文化遗产的保护意识。

4）思维品质：学生通过阅读文本内容，在学习词汇的过程中，在对琥珀屋失踪之谜的分析，培养学生的逻辑判断能力。

3.教学内容分析：

必修2，Unit1 Cultural Relics中的阅读文章介绍了俄罗斯稀世珍宝琥珀屋的有关历史，主要是琥珀屋的来历和构造过程，为什么普鲁士国王把它赠给沙皇，它是如何成为奇世珍宝的；琥珀屋在二战中失踪以及琥珀的重建。通过真实有趣内容，不仅让学生在阅读过程中学习

有关的语言知识，提高阅读技能，还增加了学生对琥珀屋作为文化遗产的历史知识的认识，与此同时，还可以是学生在叙述琥珀屋失踪的来龙去脉，从而加深对文章的篇章结构的理解。

其中重点词汇有：amazing\honey\design\select\artist\decorate\ jewel\fancy style\former\wooden\rare\remove等等，

重点短语：in return,,less than, at war,there is no doubt；

重点句型：Catherine II had the Amber Room moved to a place outside ST Petersburg where she spent her summers;This was a time when the two countries were at war; There is no doubt that the boxes were then put on a train for Konigsberg ,which was a that time a German City on the Baltic Sea. 4.教学重点与难点：

教学重点在于学生能够在情境中学习与运用语言，难点在于彻底在理解文章内容，并结合语言知识，运用语言回答相关问题，改写阅读文本。

5.教学方法：Task-based learning. 6.教学过程：

1）导入: let ss recall what we learned in last lseeon.

2）回答问题：提出18问题，注意有涉及重点词汇为主。
