Teaching goals：

Enable the students to grasp the usages of the key words ,

phrases, setence structures

as well as the attributive clause. 2.

Enable the students to use what they have learned in this class correctly and freely. 3.

Enable the students to strengthen their love in learning English actively. Teaching key points and difficult points: Enable the students to learn automatically and know how to use the key words and the phrases as well as the attributive clause correctly and freely.

Teaching procedures: Step1 revision

Revise the words and the expressions for the meanings in excise 1. Step2 practice Give the students several minutes to find the word and the expression for each of the meanings from the text by themselves and then check with the whole class.

Step3 fill in the blanks.

Five minutes given, the students complete the given passage with the given words and expressions,then check with the whole class. Step4

discovering and conclusion. Give the students the examples of the usages of “belong to”,the students conclude the usages first,and then put the phrase into correct use by doing several connected exercises. Step5

homework. Make sentences using the following words and expressions. Less than / in search of/at first/at war/designed/decorated/amazing/rare/doubt/remove/select. Step6

blackboard design. Some key words and expressions on the left half of the blackboard,and the examples of the usages of “belong to”on the right half.
