3. Listen to the report. learn from others. Ⅱ. 1. Sing a song “Go to the zoo”. Presentation 2. Show Ss some pictures of pet animals and say, ”Look! Here are some animals.

Q1: What can you see?

Q2: Can we keep them home?

T: We call them pets. Q3: How about these animals?

Teach the new words. Let Ss find the new words on the B.D. 3. Show the title.

4. Set the background. T: Our friends Mary and Tom, they love wild animals. They’re looking for the wild animals.

Q6: If you were Tom, what could you see? T hold the telescope. Q7: How many monkeys are there? Let’s count, together!

T write on B.D. and show the answer, then read the dialogue. Have Ss ask and answer. T ask Ss answer and boys ask girls answer. 5. Count the wild animals one by one and finish the B.D. Activity1: T count and ask, then ask all Ss to answer the question. Activity2: Have one Ss count on platform and answer T’s question.

Activity3: Enable Ss to ask T a question by B.D. 6. T: You really did a good job! Let’s have a rest!

6. Have a rest! Ⅲ.Practice 1. T shows a picture.

T: Look, Mary and Tom go to the zoo. What can you see in this picture? 2. T introduces the sentences to Ss. Q: What is this? Q2: How many hippos are there? T: Let’s count together. One. There is one hippo. Let Ss read it after T. 3. Same way to learn the plural form. 4. T set the background. Q1: Can you see the form? Mary wants to finish it, let’s help her, ok? 2Ss in a group, one is Mary, One is Tom, ask and answer! T: Open your books. Turn to page14, point to Part B and then finish the form. The next day, Mary and Tom go to a farm. See, there is a farmer. They are talking about the animals.

Use “How many...?” to ask a question. 本节课中数字教学是在特定的情景中,学生掌握的比较好。但是本节课中没有更好的体现对话教学,学生的回答比较多,学生之间对话练习的展示比较少,在下节课中老师应多给学生两人练习和展示的机会。
