英语三年级下:Unit 1 How are you?(Fun& Cartoon time)

Teaching aims:

1、能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词:may, hear, at school.

2、能听懂、会说、会读单词:cold, fever, cough, headache.

3、能熟练地听懂、会说、会读句型:This is… speaking. May I speak to…? I’m sorry to hear that. How are you? I’m fine, thank you. /Not so good.

4、能够理解Cartoon time内容,并正确,流利,有感情的朗读表演。

Step 1 Free talk and warm-up

1.Warm-up

T: Good afternoon, Boys and girls.

Ss:Good afternoon, Miss Zhou.

T: How are you?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you!

T:(指着板书) Look,Baymax is here.He has a letter for you.Let’s have a look, what’s in it?(学生打开信封读内容)

S:Sing a song.

T: Now, let’s sing the song together.

2.Free talk

T:How are you xxx?

S: I’m fine,thank you./ I’m…

T: I’m happy to hear that.

Step 2 Revision

1.(拨打电话)

T: Hello, this is Miss Zhou speaking.May I speak to…

S: Hello, this is…

T: How are you?

S: I’m fine, thank you.

T: Can you read Unit8 Story time.

S: Yes, I can.

T: See you later.

S: See you.

T: Let’s read story time together. After reading, we are going to have a memory game.

(Group1&2 Yang Ling, Group3&4 Miss Li)

1. Students read story time together.

2. Game: “You’re right” and“ You’re wrong”.根据课文内容判断所给句子是否正确。(Listen to me)

a. Yang Ling can come to school today.

b. Yang ling can come to school tomorrow.

c. Yang Ling has a cough and a fever.

3.Act the story

(电话铃响)

T: Hello, this is Miss Zhou speaking.May I speak to…

S: Hello, this is…

T: How are you?

S: I’m…

T: Can you act Story time?

S: Yes, I can.

T: Great! I think you can act it very well.See you later.

S: See you.

(以打电话的形式表演两组)

Step 3 Presentation

1. Let’s guess

(1)T: Yang Ling has a cold and a fever. Look at this boy. What’s the matter with him?

S: He has a…

T: Let’s ask him together

S: How are you?

T: You can use I’m fine or Not so good, I have…to answer.Guess!

S: Not so good, he has a cold.

T: Oh, you are right.He is not so good. What suggestions will Baymax give?

S: Go to see a doctor./ Drink some water./ Stay in bed./ Take some pills.(学生说的过程中贴板书)

(2)S(ask together): How are you?

S: Not so good, I have a…/ I’m fine.

T: Look! (指着白板) I’m fine. So…is right.

(3) S(ask together):What’s the matter?

S: Not so good, I have a cough.

T: You are right. What will Baymax say?

S: Go to see a doctor./ Take some pills.

(4) S(ask together):What’s wrong with you?=What’s the matter with you?(read)

S: Not so good. I have a fever.

T: Baymax says…

S: Take some pills./ Drink some water.

(5) S(ask together):What’s the matter?

S: Not so good. I have a headache.

T: Baymax says…

S: Stay in bed./ Have a rest./ See a doctor.

T: If you are ill, you should take these suggestions.

2 Listen and answer

T: Look at these two boys. Who is he?

S: He is Peter.

T: Yes, and this Tom.What’s the matter with Tom? Let’s listen and answer.

S:Not so good, I have a cough.

T: Let’s read it together. Group1&2, You are Peter.Group3&4, You’re Tom.(交换角色再读一遍,加上动作)

3.Make a telephone call

T: What’s this?

S:电话。

T: Yes, It’s a telephone. Where is your telephone? Please take out your telephone.Let’s make a telephone call to your friend. Look at me.(示范)

T:Hello, this is Miss Zhou speaking. May I speak to…

S: Hello, this is…

T: How are you?

S: I;m fine, thank you!

T: Let’s go and play basketball after school. See you later.

S: See you.

T: Can you do it like this? Now, it’s your time.

(同桌或前后两人一组打电话,打完电话老师提问,如: Where do they want to go? What’s the matter with…)

4. Cartoon time

T: We are all fine today. But Yang Ling is not so good. Baymax comes to Yang Ling’s home. What does Baymax bring to Yang Ling? Guess!

S: Fruits./ A doctor./ Some pills./ Some water.

T: Let’s have a look. Baymax brings Yang Ling a CD and a Cartoon book.Let’s watch the CD first.Before watching. Let’s read the three questions togerher.

(1) What day is it?

(2) Is Sam speaking to Tina?

(3) Where is Bobby?

( Watch and answer)

T: Do you like the story? S:Yes.

T: I like it too. It’s great fun.Now let’s read the Cartoon with emotion. Boys and girls, open your book and take out your pencil.(边读边标音调符号)

(S read one by one and then read together)

T: I think you can read it very well. Can you act it?

S: Yes, I can.

(Act cartoon time.学生老师给出评价,T:Baymax has a card for you.奖励明信片)

5. Continue the cartoon

T: Bobby plays a joke on Sam. After lunch, Bobby calls Sam, Sam wants to play a joke on Bobby too. What will happen? 充分发挥你们的想象力,续编卡通。You can work in 2 or 4.

(学生表演完后老师根据他们创编的cartoon 提出相应的问题,考察其他学生是否专心听并听懂了。然后让学生给出评价,老师给予奖励。)

Step 4 Homework

1. Listen, read and act the cartoon.

2. Preview Sound time, Song time, Checkout time.

(老师让学生对自己本堂课的表现自评)
