教学目标: 1．知识目标：通过看图片和照片，让学生描述正在发生的事情和谈论正在进行的活动。

2．能力目标：在完成知识目标的基础上，通过游戏和比赛活动的开展，培养学生的竞争意识和综合运用语言知识的能力。

3．情感目标：通过学习现在进行时，可以让学生掌握be doing的语言结构，培养学生语言运用能力。

Step 1. Warm-up . 1.Greetings. T: Good afternoon, boys and girls!

Ss: Good afternoon, teacher. T: How are you?

Ss: I’m fine. Thank you. And you? T: I’m happy. Thank you. What’s the weather like? Ss: It’s sunny and warm. 2. Sing and do the actions. What are you doing? Step 2

Review. (PPT show the pictures.)

Ask and answer: What is he /she doing?

He/She is …ing.

What are they doing?

They are…ing. Step 3 New lesson

Lead in (guess –What are they doing?)

They are playing clapping games. Play Activity 1. Ask students to say the chant and play clapping games. Presentation:

1.Show a picture of Fangfang. She is sad.( Teach the word “sad”)Why? Play the video of Activity 2. Students listen and understand the context.

2.Then ask some questions. Ask students to listen and answer.

What is Lingling doing? What are Daming and Sam doing? What are those girls doing? Students watch the video again and answer the questions.

Lingling is skipping. Daming and Sam are playing hide-and-seek. Daming is hiding and Sam is seeking. Those girls are playing clapping games. 3.Teach the new words: skip, skipping, clap, clapping.

Show some pictures. Ask students to look and say. Practice 1.

Ask the students to say the words quickly. 6.
