Module 6 Unit 1 Can I have some sweets?

一、教材分析:
本课是外语教学研究与出版社《新标准英语》三年级起点第三册第六模块第一单元。主要通过“请求允许,征求意见”
这一话题,依次呈现词汇:soup, sorry, sweets, bread, light ,dark , turn on, 及主要语言:“Can I have some…? Yes, you can. / Sorry, you can’t.”询问他人是否允许自己得到某种事物是学生生活中经常遇到的真实场景。在教学设计中,我努力创设真实的语境,让学生在快乐轻松的气氛中学习新词汇和新语言并运用到实际生活当中,提高语言运用能力。而要完成目标,还需要涉及学生原有的知识词汇,如:hungry、birthday、happy、cake、bananas、pears等有关词汇。

词汇目标:
能够看图片或实物认读单词:soup,sweets,bread,turn on,
fruit,light等单词和词组。90%学生能够在情境中运用这些单词和词组。
语言目标:
(1)95%学生能够熟练运用“Can I have some…
?”语言结构
询问自己喜欢的食物,并会回答“Yes, you can./No, you can’t.”
(2)90%学生能运用所学词句进行表达并使用简单英语进行交际, 70%学生能利用自己的想象力和创造力进行语用的进一步生成。
(3)85%学生能够强化运用hungry、birthday、happy、cake、bananas、pears等有关旧词汇以及祝贺生日的旧语言。
2、情感目标:
100%学生能参与形式多样的教学活动,表达自己所需,并具有合作精神和学习英语的兴趣;具有乐于关心他人的品质。
三、任务分析:
Can I have...? 句型与实际生活联系比较紧密,所以本课创设的语用任务是为班上某位学生过生日准备食物。让学生复习之前学过的有关食物的单词,然后通过这个语境让学生能够熟练掌握并加以运用本课词汇和语言。
四、教学重、难点:
教学重点:根据问句“Can I have some sweets /bread /soup/?”做出合适的回答,特别是“Sorry,you can’t.”的礼貌回答。
教学难点:能够灵活运用所学的词汇和语言进行对话和交流。
五、Teaching steps: Step 1: Warming-up 1、Greetings T: Let’s begin our class. Good morning, children! Ss: Good morning,Mr Wan!
T: How are you today? Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And how are you? T: I’m great, thanks. Let’s sing , ok? Ss: OK! T: Are you ready? Ss: Yes! 2. The teacher and the pupils sing “Can
you swim ? ” together 2. Revision 1. T: What’s this? It’s some rice. Do you want some rice? No , thank you . What’s this ? It’s some noodles. Do you want some noodles? Yes , please! 3. Lead in T: Now, look at me. I can jump high. Can you jump high? S1: Yes, I can. T: Can you jump far/run fast? Ss: Yes, I can. T: Can I run fast? (故意做的很慢) Ss: Sorry, you can’t. T: Can I run fast? (故意做的很快) Ss: Yes, you can. T: Today we’re going to learn Unit 1 Can I have some sweets? (板书) Step 2: Presentation I 1. Teach the new word soup by asking Do you want some
soup ?and showing the picture of soup. In this way, teach these words: sweets bread 2. Chant soup soup soup some soup bread bread bread some bread sweets sweets sweets some sweets 3. The pupils imitate to chant . Practice the chant in groups. 4. SHOW the pictures of food and say: Wow! Nice food! I am very hungry .I want some food to eat. Demonstrate the sentence pattern Can I have some sweets?and introduce the pupils to answer Yes , you can./ No ,you can’t. 5. Read the sentence Can I have some sweets?Yes, you can. / No, you can’t .after the teacher. 6. Use the way of the teacher asking ,the pupils answering ,the girls asking ,the boys answering ,and so on ,drill the sentence pattern Can I have some …? 7. Drill the sentence pattern Can I have some …? in groups .Ask some groups to ask and answer in front of the class. 8. Teach the new word light by pointing the light in the classroom .Teach the phrase turn on the light .Tell the pupils
it will be very dark in the night after turning off the light. Teach the new word dark and say It’s very dark . Step 3: Presentation II Introduce the text. 1. The teacher says in Chinese :肚子饿时,我们怎么向人要东西吃呢?听录音,看看Amy怎样向妈妈要东西吃的,妈妈又是怎样回答。
2. 出示课件,让学生跟读。
3. 学生齐读课文。
Step4: Practice 1. Can I have some (breads/ bread)? 2. Can I have some (sweets/sweet)? 3. Can I have some (apple/apples)? 4. Sorry , you (can/can’t) 5. You can (have /having) some sweets . 6. 1.在家向爸爸妈妈要东西吃时,练习说句型Can I have some …? 并教他们用英语说出正确的回答。
2.同学间分角色表演课文。
