Step one: Warming up

2. Sing a song: A chant

Step two: Lead-in

1. Let students watch a video and let them think what is talking about? It’s about food.

2. Let’s talk something about food.

Step three: Presentation

1.Teacher shows some pictures of food and teaches them the new words: potato, egg, meat, tomato, rice, noodles. And tell them they are called Chinese fast food. Then lead the students to say a chant:fast food, fast food, Chinese fast food. 2.Teacher shows the picture of making noodles and ask students “What is he doing?” and guard students to answer”He is making noodles.” Then learn this word”make”.

3.Teacher shows two pictures of noodles with tomato and egg, noodles with meat and potato. Then help students understand the meaning.

4.Teacher holds up some cards of food and ask students”Do you want some.....?”Help students answer the question in this way: Yes , please./No , thank you.

5.Watch the video and answer the question: “Does Amy want some rice? Does Amy want some noodles? How does Amy ask?” Then learn the target sentences: Do you want some.....? Yes, please./No, thank you.

Then practice in pairs.

6.Listen to the tape again and then read after the tape. Read the text in pairs. Then read in roles.
