一、语言知识和目标

1. Target:

In <

Longman English World > most of the students focus on the sentences and words learning. They lack of the practice of reading and writing. Actually it is easy for the teacher to organize the reading using the words or sentences they learned. The primary students really need this reading and writing process teaching. In this lesson the teacher tries to teach the students how to learn to write by using the words they have learned in Chapter4 through reading. 2. Words, sentences involved: Phrases: wash/washes the dishes洗碗碟 dry /dries the dishes 擦碗碟

wash/washes the clothes洗衣服 hang/hangs up the clothes 挂衣服

set/sets the table 摆饭桌

sweep/sweeps the floor拖地板

water/waters the plants给植物浇水 make/makes the bed 整理床铺

课前交流

Step 1:师生思想交流

T: Hello , everybody. Nice to meet you. I have a little bit tired. Because I did a lot of housework yesterday. I swept the floor and tidied the living room. I am helpful. T: How do you help at home? S: I make the bed. ….

(叫几个学生回答) T: You are a good boy/girl. T: How does he/she help at home? S: He / She …s/es/ies…. (设计思路:师生间用英语进行的思想交流就是最真实的语言环境,教师输入大量的、真实的语言,在形象化图片或教具的支持下师生互相交流,培养学生听的习惯,同时也建立起融洽、民主的师生交流渠道。)

Step 2: Warming up & Review T: Wow, you are so good. Here is a flash cards for you. Read? Go. T: Let’s read the phrases. S: wash the dishes, dry the dishes, set the table, clear the table, hang up the clothes, fold the clothes, water the plants, sweep the floor, make the bed, tidy the living room.

Ss: Make the bed. T: Can you make a sentence with “make the bed”. For example, Betty makes the bed. My mother makes the bed. I sweep the floor. Ss玩游戏并造句。

Step 1 : Talk about Cinderella.(Reading) T: Some of you do some housework at home, but one girl do all these housework. Who is she ? (展示女孩图片的幻灯片) Her name is Cinderella. T: (用phonics的方法教读Cinderella) Listen to a story and answer questions. PPT(加音频): Cinderella is a good, beautiful girl. Her mother is dead. She has a new mother and two new sisters. They are bad to her. They make Cinderella do a lot of housework to do.

She is tired. T: What is the girl’s name ? Ss: She’s Cinderella. (教师板书写上Cinderella)

T: What does she do everyday? Ss: She washes the dishes. She dries the dishes. She washes the clothes. She hangs up the clothes. She sets the table. She sweeps the floor. She waters the plants. She makes the bed. 学生边说教师边把单词卡片贴到相应位置。(见图示)

Step 2: Presentation (reading) T: Cinderella has some bird friends. T: Will anyone help her? What will they do? Look at this bird, What is the bird’s name? Let’s listen to the story. (引导学生带着问题听录音) T: What is the bird’s name?

T: How does Betty help at home? S: She washes the dishes. (板书写washes the dishes)

T: Who is Barbie? ( Barbie is Betty’s sister.) (

Role play: Picture 1. (Group work)

T: Let’s have a role play. Group 1,you are narrator. Group 2,you are Cinderella. Group 3, you are Betty.(

引导孩子学会模仿语音语调来演绎故事。)

T: Besides the voice how about their facial expression? Is Cinderella happy? 个别学生上前扮演,加上语气和面部表情

T: Then how about your body language. (引导学生从刚才的学生扮演总结)

T: Now three students are in one group. Student A, you are narrator. Student B, you are Cinderella .Student C, you are Betty. Pay much attention to your voice, facial expression and body language .

S: Bobby is Betty’s brother. Billy is Betty’s brother. They help at home. T: How does Bobby help at home? S: He sweeps the floor. T: How does Billy help at home? S: He makes the bed. Role play: Picture 2. (Group work) T: Who want to be act Betty/ Cinderella? Questions time: 1)

How many sisters and brothers does Betty have? One sister and two brothers. 2)

T: How does Bobby help at home? S: He sweeps the floor. 3)T: How does Billy help at home? S: He makes the bed.

T: Let’s listen the story again. How do the birds help Cinderella? Students look at the pictures and express out. Barbie hangs up the clothes. Betty washes the dishes. Bobby sweeps the floor. Billy is carrying a twig in his beak. What does Billy want to do? (He wants to make the bed.) T: Why do the birds need to leave? ( It’s time for tea.) T: What happen next? Let’s listen. T: What happens to her bed?

(Billy puts sticks and leaves on Cinderella’s bed.) T:

Why Billy put sticks and leaves on Cinderella’s bed?

(They use sticks and leaves to make their beds.) T: Do you think the birds are helpful? Why? Why not? Billy tries to help Cinderella but he doesn’t know the right way to do it. Step 3: Role play (reading) 1).Group work: Six students in a group. 2). Show time.
