The First Lesson This lesson is on jobs, through this lesson, the students can use the expressions to ask what somebody does and talk about their parents. The children have learned the sentence patterns: What is your father/mother? And also they have mastered some of the words of jobs.

“做中学，用中学”的过程中学习语言，运用语言。

教学过程

Step1 Lead-in 通过谈论我的父亲让学生初步感知本课大意。

Today, we are going to talk about our father. First, I am going to talk about my father. My father is tall and thin, he is very old, he has a pair of bright eyes. He is a teacher, he works in a school, he works very hard. He likes dogs, he likes reading and watching TV, but he does not like playing cards. My father loves me very much, and I love my father.

Step2 Presentation 1.

用学过的表达提问：What is your father?

What is your father like?

Now we have a new sentence for “What is your father or mother?”
