Step 1. Lead-in

The teacher plays a song Love before class in class and then ask Ss to fill in the blanks. Through the activity, the teacher leads to the V-ing forms.

Step 2 Presentation

Present the basic forms and usage of V-ing to Ss

Step 3 Practice

Task 1：Fill in the blanks: 填空

Step 4 Production Task 2: Play a game Game rules: 1. Make one or two sentences to talk about one of your classmates. 2. Use the verbs(动词),and phrases（短语）I give you. 3.The students mentioned（提及）

by others will stand up and make another sentence. Task3：Group work:

Ask Ss to write about a person them love or respect very much (at least 3 V-ing forms ).
