一、

导入

1.Children, we’re having an English class now. I’m very happy to be with you . What about you? Sounds great! We study hard together. We help each other. We’re growing taller and older every day.

二、新课

（一）借助本班学生的情况学习故事中的词语、句子，为学习故事做准备。

Gao Peizhi, how tall are you? You’re so tall. Gong Shuai, are you taller than him?引导学生理解，能表达这样的句子：I’m ___ centimetres shorter than him. Look at the word.It’s long,but it’s easy.The first part is “ centi”, the second part is “metres”.理解tallest。Who is taller than him in our class? No one. Gao Peizhi is the tallest student in our class. 再引导学生表达：I’m ___ centimetres shorter than him. He’s __taller than me. Gao Peizhi is really tall. How tall is he? He’s almost 1.8 metres.借助比较让学生理解almost。He’s the tallest one in our school. He’s the flag bearer of our school. He can reach the flagstaff. But the others can’t reach. 再体会reach。让他举起胳膊，问：Can you reach his fingers? （二）了解、朗读故事内容

1.Here’s a story. I think it’s interesting .We’ll learn it. First, look at the pictures about the story. How many pictures? We can see our good

friends Zip and Zoom. And some animals, they’re Mr Giraffe, Mr Zebra, Mr Deer ,Mr Dog and Mr Hippo. 教师边说边板书四个动物的名字。Where are they? What are they doing? What’s happening here?Watch the video,please. 2.I think it’s interesting. One day, some animals see an ad on the notice board.It says “We want a goalkeeper.”结合图片指导理解goalkeeper。What do the goalkeepers look like? The goalkeepers are usually tall and strong.They had better catch the ball.Look,he’s a goalkeeper.He can catch the ball. He’s a good goalkeeper. He’s an excellent goalkeeper. 3.Do the animals want to be a goalkeeper? Let’s read their dialogue in part. You four, please.They all want to have a try.Who needs a goalkeeper?Yes.They need a goalkeeper in their football team. Can Mr Deer be a goalkeeper? Why?How tall is he? How heavy is he? I think he’s tall and strong.Why can’t he be a goalkeeper?引导学生回答：Mr Zebra is 10 cm taller than Mr Deer.And he’s stronger.But he can’t catch the ball. Mr Deer can’t catch either.They can’t be a goalkeeper. 学生分角色读对话。

4.What about Mr Giraffe? Mr Giraffe is the tallest one.引导学生回答：His neck is too long. The others can’t reach him. Football needs teamwork. He can’t be a goalkeeper. 学生回答教师板书，再让学生朗读理解。What about Mr Dog?

5.Who can be the goalkeeper? Why? 引导学生说并板书：Mr Hippo is a big guy. He’s too heavy. He’s almost bigger than the goal. He’s the one they want. He can catch the ball. He’s an excellent goalkeeper.让学生朗读理解。Mr hippo comes to the playground. He doesn’t know what happened here. At last he becomes a goalkeeper they want. Is it interesting? 6.看黑板内容，叙述故事大概意思。

7.Let’s read the story in part.学生听录音分角色朗读。

8.学生分组练对话，配音。Let’s make a dubbing to the story. 9.表演对话

Need a goalkeeper

Mr Deer:

He’s tall and strong.

Mr Zebra: He’s 10 cm taller than Mr Deer, and he’s stronger.But he can’t catch the ball.

Mr Giraffe: His neck is too long. The others can’t reach him. Football needs teamwork.

Mr Dog:

He’s short and small.

Mr Hippo: He’s a big guy, and almost bigger than the goal. He’s an excellent goalkeeper

反思：

在讲课时为了让学生很好地理解故事中的一些生词和句子，我利用班上最高的学生的信息作为新课的铺垫和导入，然后了解故事内容，进行了故事中语言的理解、朗读。

平时孩子们也比较喜欢表演对话，课下我安排他们自学故事内容，并练习给故事配音、表演，孩子们的兴趣特别高。他们认真练习，课上有的羞涩，有的紧张，尽管不是特别完美，但是孩子们的参与度非常高！我觉得在这样的情境中学习英语、运用英语，能增强孩子们的英语口语表达能力，让学习变得有趣、有效率！
