1．Just talk 本部分在L14和L15What’s that?和What’s this in English?的基础上学习What’s that in English? It’s a/an...以及询问是否喜欢某物Do you like...? Yes, I do. 创设了Li Yan 和Kate 一起挑选蔬菜的场景。教师可以运用听录音、图片展示、情景模仿以及角色表演等方法激励学生感知、模仿、学习和体验。最终引导学生能够在生活情境中灵活运用这些功能语句进行交际，并培养学生健康的饮食习惯。

本部分重点教学词汇，要求学生能够听、说、认读carrot, cucumber。能够听、说、认读、写tomato，并能在四线三格中正确拼写；进一步巩固What’s that in English? It’s a/an...语句，并把词汇融入句子中进行学习、操练。在对话交流的过程中完成目标词汇的学习是本部分设计的一个特点。

3．Let's play 本部分设计了一个小组活动，操练本课所学语言。

Fruit Party 5 There is a Fruit Party. All the fruits are coming. Can you guess what they are? T shows pictures of fruits, students

will guess what they are.

II．新课导入（Presentation）

Animal Party

There is an Animal Party. Many animals are coming to the party. Have the students guess what they are and the vegetable they like. Thus, new words “tomato, carrot, cucumber and their plural forms”will be brought out.

Let’s play games.

Game 1: High and low voice

Game 2: Flapping game.

Now,

Curious George comes to the Party.

He asks, “What’s that in English?”

“It's a tomato.”

He asks again, “What’s that in English?”

“It's a carrot.”

He asks again, “What’s that in English?”

“It's a cucumber.”

Since the class is divided into four groups, T will assign different situations for each group.

For example, Group A: vegetable shop;

Group B: zoo;

Group C: birthday party;

Group D: stationary shop.

Ss will have 3 minutes to practice the above two sentences with their partners within their group. After that, each group will demonstrate their result. Accordingly, prizes will be given according to their performance.

Show the picture of the text. Then ask SS to read after the tape. Then translate each sentence into Chinese.

III．趣味操练

（Practice）

Let's act．Since the class is divided into four groups, T will assign different situations for each group.

For example, Group A: vegetable shop;

Group D: stationary shop. Ss will have 3 minutes to practice the text and create a new dialogue with their partners within their group. After that, each group will demonstrate their result. Accordingly, prizes will be given according to their performance.
