Students can write and say words: summer vacation and functional sentences: Where do you want to go? I want to go to ... What do you want to do? I want to ... Students can use the functional sentences to express their travel plans correctly in real situations. Students can cultivate their ability of speaking and listening.

To arouse students interest in English and to cultivate their love for travelling.

I want to... Students can use the sentence pattern to express their travel plans in real situation.

Sing a song together. 1.

Review the five places and finish the list and lead students to use sentence pattern: “This is ...We can ...” to express their travel plans. I want to go to

Ask students “Where do you want to go?”

and lead students say “I want to go to ...” Ask students “What do you want to do there” and lead students say “I want to...”

Reading part 1.

First reading Let students look at the picture and ask three questions:  Who are they? 

What are they doing?  What are they talking about? With the questions, students listen and point. 2.

Second reading Listen and point, and underline the key points. Students can summarize the sentence pattern: Ability aims Emotion aims Key points Difficult points 2.

Work in pairs and find some pairs to show their conversation in class.
