Reading Pre-reading Prediction Let students guess what does “I” in the title refer to and predict the content of the passage according to the pictures and the title. While- reading

Skimming Get students to read the whole passage and try to get the main idea of it . Scanning Ask students to read the passage and finish the timeline.

Careful -reading Ask students to read the passage again and complete the chart on page 19. Post- reading Ask students to do a summary about the history and development of computers. Step V
