Teaching Time: 45 minutes Analysis of reading material: This passage intruoduces Australia to students from several aspects. In this lesson, students need to do both extensive and intensive reading, and grasp the key information to do the exercises below the passage and prepare for their own after-class task. Analysis of students:

The objects of this lesson are students in Senior Grade 2. Most of the students are in a low level of English Learning. Though some of them have a good command of vocabulary, but they lack of the ability to conclude the key information with their own words. What’s more, many students lack the ability of speaking and listening. Thus, it requires teachers to push and give students a well-rounded schema building. More importantly, it is difficult for students to focus on the class for 45 minutes, so teacher should design some relaxing but educational activities or discussion to sustain students’ attention. Teaching Aims：
