教材分析

«英语课程标准»强调在教学过程中，要充分发挥学生的主动性和主体性。我校推行的学、议、导、练的课堂教学模式也大力主张教师在教学中注意培养学生的自主学习和探究能力，引导学生自我探究和实践为最终目的。在教学过程中渗透立德树人的思想品德教育也是教师教学的重要元素。

教学目标

1.知识与能力

（1）理解教学内容的内涵；（2）掌握表达思想的技巧；（3）提高书面表达能力；

2.过程与方法

（1）通过提高思想认识和小组的自主探究提高课堂研究能力；（2）通过对内容的理解掌握写作的出发点；（3）通过对重点词汇和句型结构的学习掌握写作句式；（4）通过连词成句，连句成段的练习掌握写作技巧；

3.情感与态度

通过练习的梯度设计和重难点的突破，引导学生积极主动面对学习困难并增强克服困难的决心和毅力；通过写作材料引导学生尊重长辈，理解母亲的关心和爱护;动员学生正确对待母亲的教育，避免过激行为。

教学重难点

1.重点：通过引导，让学生确定写作的方向；通过学习词、句掌握写作技巧。

2.难点：连词成句和连句成文。

教学过程

Step1 To discuss 1.Is mother's love the greatest love in the world ? 2.How will you deal with mother's worries and instructions ? Step2 To appreciate: 1.

A song: Candlelight mother 2. Ask a student to read the song lines loudly 欣赏歌曲«烛光里的妈妈»，与此同时请同学朗诵歌词，渲染尊重母亲、长辈、老师的气氛，从而陶冶学生的情操，教他们做人，培养他们的思想品德。

假定你是李华，在一个英文网络论坛上，你看到一个名叫Grown-up的中学生发帖(post)寻求帮助。请根据帖子内容、写作要点和要求回帖。

Step4 Writing Requirements（专题突破）

1.劝说建议信是劝说收信人接受或拒绝某一想法、观点、提议或行动并提出自己的建议让对方采取进一步行动的书信形式之一。

(1).开头常用句式：

As a student of your age，I understand your situation.The problem you are facing is common among us teenagers.However，it should be wise not to do anything that may hurt her feelings.Here are a few suggestions.

First，it’s advisable to talk more with your mom.Heart-to-heart talks help you understand each other better.They are also opportunities to let her know your ideas and attitudes toward many things. Second，you should learn to do your own things well，proving to your mom that you are already a “Grown-up”．It’s even better if you could share more of the housework，such as cleaning，washing and cooking.
