Noun Clause as the subject(主语从句)教学设计

一、教材分析:

本节课的教学内容是Discovering useful structure Noun Clause as the subject, 本单元要求掌握句子成分---主语，主语从句又为一个难点，因此要对名词性从句进一步进行学习。

二、学生分析:

通过以前的语法学习,学生已对名词性从句有了一定的了解,并掌握了名词性从句中宾语从句和从句的用法,在这个基础上学生渴望进一步学习名词性从句,以满足自己的求知欲望,这为这节课的语法学习作了很好的铺垫作用。

三、知识与能力目标:

1. 通过学习,帮助学生了解、熟悉并掌握名词性从句作主语的用法;

2.使学生灵活运用主语从句,特别是把它运用到必要的具体语境中去。

主语从句的连接词的选定。

2.主语从句遵循的特点：陈述语气和缺什么补什么不缺补that . 五．教学难点：it做形式主语的结构

六、教学过程: Step1:lead-in（导入）

他通过了考试让老师很高兴。

He passed the exam. It made the teacher happy. That he passed the exam made the teacher happy. 他何时要来还不清楚。

When will he come? It is not clear. When he will come is not clear. Step 2:主语从句的定义及形式位置

在主从复合句中，充当主语的从句叫做主语从句。

形式：1一个句子由连接词引导放在句首

2 It做形式主语，而真正的主语从句在句末。

根据上面两个例句，让他们自己推论得出主语从句的形式及位置. 配习题：找出主语从句并翻译

１连词

that ,whether That he will come is certain. Whether he will come is uncertain. 2连接代词，whom who which what whoever, whichever, whatever, whomever等

Which book I shall choose hasn't been decided. 3 连接副词,where, when, how, why When we will leave hasn't been decided. How she keeps healthy is a secret. Why he cries is not clear. Where the meeting will be held

not known. Step4 连词在从句中的功能

遵循（缺什么补什么的原则）

1 ______he will come or not is uncertain..(whether 2______one is better will be decided by yourself.(which) 3______you do in your spare time should do no harm to others.(whatever) 4______the problem will be solved is still unknown.(how) 5______he set off for Beijing is uncertain.(when) 6______you did just now satisfied your teacher.(what) Step5可用it 作形式主语，从句本身置于句末，常见句型有：

1 it +be +形容词+that从句

It’s clear that he was telling the truth.

It is probable that we’ll be a little late.

2It +be+名词词组+that从句

It is a pity that you can’t go with us.

3It+及物动词+宾语+that从句

It worried her a bit that her hair was turning grey. It shocked me that he didn’t tell anybody where he was.

4 It +be +过去分词+that从句

It is said /reported/believed/thought/expected+that从句

It is said that he has been there many times. 5 It +seems/happens/appears等不及物动词+that 从句

教学反思：

本节课能依据《英语课程标准》的精神设计了一个体现新课程理念的语法教学活动,并根据实际情况设计学生最熟悉、最感兴趣的题材,整个教学过程都围绕一个主题主语从句进行教学。各个教学环节紧凑,教学效果良好。在教师引导下,学生能自主学习;能积极参与小组活动,围绕主题与学习伙伴进行合作学习。从学生上交的作业看,学生对着这节课的语法内容掌握良好,基本上能正确使用主语从句,能够把所学知识运用到实际中去。在今后的教学实践中,我将不断探索新教法,进一步提高自己的教学水平。
