Learning about Language The General Idea of This Period：

This period includes revision of the text, learning about language.From this period the students will learn how to use some of the key words and expressions in the text and do some exercises for consolidation，and learn how to use the Present Perfect Passive Voice. Teaching Aims：

Step 1 Revision 1.Have a dictation of the key words and expressions, then check the answers together. 2.Do the exercise about what we have learned last time. (1) First as a PC and then as a laptop, I __________(use) in offices and homes since the 1970s.

have even been put Step 2 Presentation Task 1 Review the present perfect tense together, especially the temporal adverbial. *现在完成时常与

already, always, often, ever, never, yet, not...yet, just等模糊的时间副词连用。

*还可以和表示跟现在有关的或者一直延续到现在的时间状语连用。如: now, today, this month, this year, lately recently, these few days , in the past 10 years, in the last few years, so far , up to now, ever since等。

Task 2 现在完成时构成：have/has (not)+ done 现在完成时的被动语态的构成：have/has (not)+ been + 过去分词

现在完成时的被动语态特点：主语是行为动作的承受者

谓语动词表示动作已经完成

Eg.

I have been told about it many times．

The bridge has just been built．

Task 3

1.Change the following sentences into the present perfect passive voice.(见课本P21) Answers: (1)

A new personal computer has been bought by my friend. (2)

My computer has been repaired by the shop very quickly. (3)

2.Do the exercises on PPT and ask students to show their answers, then check together and explain what they can’t understand. Task 4 1. 副词的位置

just, often, usually, always, never, hardly, seldom等副词置于have/has和been中间。

2. 并不是所有动词都有被动语态

happen, take place, break out, belong to, cost, remain, become, appear等不及物动词或词组无被动语态。

Task 5 现在完成时和一般过去时的区别

★在完成时强调过去的动作对现在有影响；一般过去时只表示过去某个具体时间里发生的动作，与现在没有联系。

Jane left an hour ago . Jane has left now. (她现在已经不在这里了。) ★两者都可表示过去开始并延续了一段时间的动作，但现在完成时表示动作可能还要继续下去，而一般过去时则说明动作已经结束。

He worked in the hospital for 7 years.

(现在不在那个医院了) He has worked in that hospital for 7 years.（现在仍在那里工作）

★时态的构成：

一般过去时：用动词的过去式

(was/were/did)表示

现在完成时：have/has +过去分词

★被动语态的构成：

一般过去时的被动语态：was/were +过去分词

现在完成时的被动语态：have/has + been + 过去分词

★一般过去时态中的时间状语

一般过去时常与具体的表示过去的时间状语连用，如yesterday, last week, two days ago, at 10:00, in 1980, in the 2020s等。

还跟once, just now, in the other day(不久前的某一天)，

in the past等模糊时间状语连用。
