2.Be able to describe the weather by the new sentences. It`s___. And say some things about what they can do in such days.

教具准备:Words cards. PPT. Video.

教学过程:

Step1 Warm-up:

1.Greeting!

2.Sing a song ”Rain, rain go away ”.

T: Look at the pictures and speak the phrase or sentences.

Step2 Presentation:

1. Teacher show the main cities’ weather report of China

T: Look at the picture. It’s a map of China. Let’s say:”What’s the weather like in Beijing?”

Ss: Answer according to the weather icons.

T: Introduce the software”墨迹天气” to check more cities.

2. T: show “What’s the weather like?” and “How’s the weather?” they have the same meaning.

3. Ss: Listen to the dialogue of “Wechat” and answer questions.

4. Talk about the weather and what they can do in such days.

3 Practice

1. Look, fill and say.(Group work)

Eg:

Ss: Do the group work

2.T: Introduce the “weather alert”

“From blue, yellow, orange to red”

More and more dangerous.
