Teaching aims:

1.Students will be able to listen,speak,read and write the words:

doughnut, cake, candy, hot dog; and the sentences: Have a/an... No, thanks. I don’t like...I like...

2.Students will get to know the knowledge and skills through group activities and games.

3.The students will learn to share food with others.

Teaching Process

Step 1.Warming up

1.Let’s sing a song together.

2.Let’s review the sentences in Lesson 19.

Step2. Presentation

1. When students review the sentences in Lesson19, they will learn the new sentence: Have a/an...by looking at the pictures on the screen.

2. Gao Wei, Peter and Li Yan are going to have a picnic today. Would you like to join them? Ok, let’s take some food to join them. The n teach the new letters: Cc and Dd; afterwards teach the words containing the two letters: cake, candy, hot dog and doughnut.

3.Let’s listen what Gao Wei likes.

Step3. Practice

1.Listen to the dialogue and repeat it.

2.Role play.

Step4. Extension

Work in groups.Let’s have a picnic with our friends.Try to make a new dialogue with your partners.

Homework

Must do: Finish the exercise in Lesson20.

Choose to do: Act out the picnic with different partners.
