第一课时

Part A Let’s learn & Find the mistakes

I. Teaching aims:

1.能听、说、认读单词“dining hall”“grass”gym以及ago。

2.了解与过去时连用的时间:years ago,months ago,last year,last month。

3.能运用There be句型的现在时和过去时进行表达不同时间的某地点和某事物。

4.能完成“Find the mistakes”。

II.The key and difficult points:

1.Key points

能听、说、认读单词“dining hall,grass,gym,ago”并能灵活运用“There be…”的现在时和过去时。

2. Difficult points

能灵活运用“There be”的现在时和过去时并能灵活运用“…didn’t…”“…couldn’t…”。

单词卡片、PPT。

IV.Procedures:

Step1:Warm-up

(1)教师出示学校的图片和学生对话。T:What’s this?S:It’s a school.引导学生用“There be …”句型来说:There is a library in our

school.以此类推,分别描述teachers’ office,playground,computer room,art room 等。

(2)利用图片分别展示20年前学校的图片,并运用“There was/were…”句型来进行描述。

Step2:Presentation

(1)教师指着草坪的图片:“What’s t his?”“It’s grass. ”“There is a grass in our school. ”拿出3年前及现在学校的图片,并引导学生进行对比描述。如:There was no grass in our school 3 years ago. Now there is a new one in our school.

(2)展示体育馆的图片,引出“gym”,S:There is no gym in our school.出示吴一凡现在学校的图片,并引导学生进行对比描述。如: There is no gym in our school. But there is a new one in Wu Yifan’s school.

(3)教师展示餐厅的图片,并做“吃饭”的动作,“It’s a place where you eat food. ”引出“dining hall”,引导学生说:“There is a dining hall in our school”。出示时间状语last year 和last month,引导学生说There was a gym in Wu Yifan’s school last year.There was a gym in Wu Yifan’s school last month. 或者There was no gym in Wu Yifan’s school last month.There was no gym in Wu Yifan’s school last year.

(4)听“Let’s learn”部分,并学习正确的语音语调。

Step3:Consolidation and extension

(1)Play games

a.Read and say

b.Read quickly

c.Bomb time

(2)完成“Find the mistakes”。

A.组织学生观察图片,并圈出不可能出现在Tang Dynasty 的建筑和物品。如:gym,dining hall,post office,bus,traffic lights,motel, cinema,cafe。

B.学习Sarah所说的话,分成三个句型:There

be.../...didn’t..../...couldn’t...

C.引导学生用“过去时的否定式”来描述出错误,如:At that time, there were no gyms. People didn’t go by bus. People couldn’t use the Internet.

D.小组合作写句子,并派一位代表上台描述所发现的错误。

(2)描述自己教室里所发生的变化,10年前,5 年前和现在物品,来进行对比。如:There was no computer in our classroom 5 years ago. There is a computer in our classroom now. Students didn’t/ couldn’t use computers to watch a film.

(3)Make a summary.

(4)Exercise.

Step 4:Homework

向同学讲述自己房间的变化。
